1. I recently brought my dog to Calusa Vet Clinic and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive from the moment we walked in. Dr. Glotzer took the time to thoroughly examine my dog and explain everything clearly, making me feel confident in their expertise. Kurtis & Blanka were an excellent help in assisting.   2. Just switched back to Calusa from a different vet and I can’t say enough great things about our experience today. Thank you Dr. Krawitz, we know we’re in good hands again! Thank you to Katie in boarding also, Deebo and Lyla can’t wait to spend time with you again! Wanted to add that Presley was super helpful in medical boarding, and Kim in regular boarding was very nice. Suzanne at the front desk is always the friendliest and makes scheduling very easy for us!

  3. Calusa Veterinary Center provides the best care. I have used them for my last dog and currently use them for 2 dogs. They are caring and always there to help. Dr. Krawitz provides holistic treatment to try to avoid medications. He is the most caring and thorough vet that I have ever used. He is proactive to ensure that the dog receives the best treatment to maintain good health. Paola works there and she is the most amazing person. She is so caring and compassionate and helpful. All in all, this hospital is worth the expense if you truly care about your pet's health.

  5. I recently took my dog to Calusa after she hurt her foot and the experience was excellent. The staff was wonderful and met us outside by the car, as my dog couldn’t walk and I wasn’t able to carry her in. Curtis carefully listened as I shared my dog’s specific sensitivities and gently carried her inside. The front desk woman was so warm and sweet and helped to soothe my worries while I waited. Curtis quickly returned with my dog, as the issue was an easy fix. Each of the staff members was kind and nurturing, coming over to explain aftercare and check in on us. It's clear they truly love animals and the work that they do.

  6. First time here as I had to bring my pup in due to a hurt arm and our regular vet was unavailable. The facility is clean, the staff was very friendly, and they got us back to see the doctor in a timely manner. Curtis and Dr. Glotzer did an amazing job of keeping my very shy and timid dog as comfortable as possible throughout the process. We will definitely be back should we need an emergency vet visit again!

  7. Dr Krane is compassionate and competent, as are the nurses and assistants. Unfortunately, I had to let my eldest cat, Abby, go, a few weeks ago. Abby was my heart. She and I were treated with dignity, respectfully and lovingly. Yesterday, my cat, Cleo (Cleocatra) had her wellness check with Dr Krane, with Elizabeth assisting, along with someone whose name I do not know. As always, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Cleo was very frightened, but they made her comfortable and kept her calm. Thank you, Dr. Krane. 😻

  8. We have been coming to Calusa for nearly 2 decades. Over the years, a dozen cats, 3 were barn cats, and a couple of pups, we currently have 2 kitties, we have run the gamut of veterinary needs, some very rare and serious. Every ounce of attention and detail to our fur babies' health is taken. Dr. Cindy Krane has been and is our primary doctor. She has guided us with knowledge, care and empathy. When we needed specialists, Dr Krane got us the best (eyes, cardiologist, cancer, amputation, genetic disorders and so on...). Amanda, Suzanne, and Rose have been stedfast with us as well. The whole Calusa team and the supporting physicians that work with Calusa are second to none. We also use their pet resort. Yes, it's a resort. We travel a lot! And there is no other place we would leave them with. The staff spoil our critters. A couple of years ago we moved to Lauderdale by the Sea area and we still make the drive to north Boca for all our pets' needs. Calusa's staff and doctors have loved our pets as their own. When it was time to let them, one by one, cross the rainbow bridge, everyone came in to say goodbye, shed tears, and tell stories of their antics. Calusa Veterinary Center stands above all the others. Thank you Calusa for everything.

  9. A couple of weeks ago, another dog attacked our little dog. When we pulled into Calusa’s parking lot, Dr. Krane, her vet, was leaving for the airport. She saw us, came to the car, and took Mollyann to the emergency room. The care she received from the emergency doctor and his team was the best. Our girl is fine now, and we are forever grateful to everyone caring for her.

  10. So grateful for the care and attention we received at Calusa Veterinary Center! Our cat had a urinary bladder blockage and needed immediate medical attention. Calusa was there to help us right away and took great care of our cat Gizmo! Forever grateful for Dr. Fryer, ER nurse Andrew L., Paola and the rest of the staff at Calusa Veterinary Center!
