Dr. Bridget Dermott grew up in South Florida where she graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Zoologic Medicine. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with Cum Laude Honors in 2017. She also received education in Clinical Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florida. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Dermott works as a General Practitioner and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) specializing in post-surgical, geriatric, and sports medicine physical therapy. Her professional skills include acupuncture, general practice, internal medicine, dermatology, surgery, rehabilitative therapy, and Fear Free Medicine. Dr. Dermott is grateful to work with a team of supportive and skilled veterinary professionals with the common goal to keep pets happy and healthy.
Dr. Dermott resides in Delray Beach, Florida. When Dr. Dermott is not caring for pets at Calusa Veterinary Center, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She has a yorkie-poo named Gracie Lou, who is the social butterfly of the clinic. Dr. Dermott has special interests in travel, painting, and photography.
