Calusa Veterinary Center is hiring a full-time ER Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animal patients.

Schedule: 4 days/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide range of medical conditions.
- Perform routine and complex surgical procedures.
- Offer preventative care and wellness education to clients.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and service.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Florida.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries.
- Knowledge of preventative care, including vaccinations and testing.
- Experience advising animal owners about sanitation, feeding, and general care.
- Proficient in documenting actions, completing reports, and updating animal records.
